Colleen G. Stratton, FICB, MBA
President and Principal Consultant

Colleen founded CGS at the end of 2006 after working more than fifteen years in corporate finance positions in the California Bay Area and Connecticut.

Colleen held finance management positions in the computer, retail, and advertising industries, and provided internal consulting in the banking/financial services arena.

She also managed strategic and operational planning activities and processes, and coordinated internal audits.

Colleen has considerable experience working on company acquisitions and restructurings, and with joint ventures and strategic partnerships.

Over her career, Colleen has worked with US based and international companies, with small and large businesses, and with non-profits.

Colleen completed her Fellowship with the Institute of Canadian Bankers, University of Toronto in Canada; her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance at Howard University in Washington, DC; and her Master's Degree in Business Administration at the University of California at Berkeley.

Colleen is a member of the Guilford Economic Development Commission, and past Secretary and Treasurer of the Community Action Agency of New Haven's Board of Directors. She is a soprano and sings with the Opera Theater of Connecticut and the Con Brio Choral Society.
